Soaring high

This griffon vulture was photographed in Serbia, in Uvac national park. When we were hiking above the canyon of Uvac river, this inquisitive birds circled above us for a moment. Very smart animal, it had to check us out :)

    Yes, they do seem to have a hierarchy in whom eats first, but I guess the hierarchy itself is constantly challenged. Posted 4 years ago
