Oriental Beetle - Exomala orientalis
There was a huge beetle orgy at my light last night. There were at least a hundred oriental beetles, and all were desperate to procreate. This poor lady had two fellas on her...one male was mating with the correct orifice, while the other was mating with her face.
Habitat: Attracted to a 365 nm LED light; semi-rural area

The Oriental beetle is a beetle about 0.7 - 1.1 cm long, with mottled, metallic brown- and black-colored elytra and a similarly-colored thorax and head during the adult stage. During the larval stage the oriental beetle can be identified by the parallel line raster pattern.
