
Showy Emerald - Dichorda iridaria
This moth didn't want to move from the power supply for my light, so I had to settle for this shot.
WS: ~ 30 mm. Green wings with white AM and PM lines. White costal streak is mottled at the base. Hosts: Poison ivy, staghorn sumac, and winged sumac. Status: common.
Habitat: Attracted to a 395 nm LED light at night in a semi-rural area.
