
Garden Tortrix - Clepsis peritana
I was so excited when I saw this moth because I thought it was a species new to me. But, then I realized that it was just a garden tortrix with its wings spread a bit ;P.
TL: ~8 mm. Host: Strawberries. Status: Common.
Habitat: Attracted to a 365 nm LED light in a semi-rural area

''Clepsis peritana'', the garden tortrix or strawberry garden tortrix, is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found in Spain, Cuba, as well as North America, where it has been recorded from southern Canada throughout the United States.
