Polyxenus lagurus - Juvenile Okay, as the 3,5mm (sub?)adult Polyxenus I just uploaded was the first one JD I decided to also dig up this small juvenile that I shot some years ago. Bad, lo-res image, but it clearly shows that the juveniles have far less body segments. ''Polyxenus lagurus'', known as the bristly millipede is a species of millipede found in many areas of Europe and North America. It is covered with detachable bristles that have the ability to entangle ants and spiders that attack the animal.
