A Lined Chiton! Tonicella lineata, found grazing on a rock that I turned over at an extreme low tide. It was about 2.5cm in length. Another of the same species but smaller also inhabited the rock. Tonicella lineata, found grazing on a rock that I turned over at an extreme low tide. It was about 2.5cm in length. Another of the same species but smaller also inhabited the rock. I was surprised at how quickly they could move… not expecting them to move at all!
