    1. It's all about the lighting, you know. I've added just a hint of contrast to enhance the colours.
      Here you can see more of the flower it is on, but it is a nice illusion.

The Lesser Spotted Fritillary is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found in the southern part of the Palearctic ecozone. In Europe it is sometimes called "desert fritillary", but this name more accurately refers to the North African relative ''M. deserticola''. The wingspan is 15–23 mm. The larvae feed on ''Verbascum'' species.
