  3. The interesting thing about wombats is they look cuddly but if you happen to hit one in your car you are likely to end up second best, and they walk away. In Australia we would say they are built like a country toilet (I had to tone it down a bit) Posted 12 years ago, modified 12 years ago

The common wombat , also known as the coarse-haired wombat or bare-nosed wombat, is a marsupial, one of three species of wombats and the only one in the genus ''Vombatus''. The common wombat grows to an average of 98 cm long and a weight of 26 kg .
