Useful Plant Beautiful Flower

This is a sturdy climbing shrub, stems can be up to 10 meters long.

The fruits are aromatic, eaten raw or preserved. Leaves and roots are applied in traditional medicine against stomachache, abdominal pains and skin diseases. Climbing stems said to be good substitute for rattans. So, all parts of this plants has some use.

  Although they are common, most of the time the flowers are quite high up beyond reach and more often to see the decayed petals on the ground. Posted 4 years ago

    That's how I usually locate American tulip trees -- I find their petals on the ground. Posted 4 years ago

      That's a good trick/method.
      Lots of time in the forested trails, can only see the decayed flowers on the ground and no chance to take pics of the proper flowers high up in the canopies. Posted 4 years ago
