It was just earlier in March that JD Member, ChunXingWong was asking me if I see lots of frogs at my location and he was showing me a picture of this rare frog that he saw in Borneo recently. So, we were totally surprised that I found this one, and this could be a new documentation of the species on the island :D Posted 4 years ago
Check out this beauty! The Spiny Warted Frog (Theloderma horridum) is found in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. Its natural habitat consists of moist lowland forests, in which it blends in fantastically thanks to its bark-mimicking skin. The combination of its camouflage and the frog's arboreal lifestyle make it a species that is rarely seen. And, sadly - it is threatened by habitat loss. {Spotted in Malaysia by Albert Kang} #JungleDragon #SpinyWartedFrog #Thelodermahorridum
