A House Wren searching for food in the lawn. While it is a very common bird here in Trinidad, they are very timid and active, making them difficult for me to photograph in a natural setting.

    1. Thank you Niel! I actually took this photo through the living room window where the glass was a bit dirty due to rain then dust hitting it 24/7, I took 27 photos to get one sharp eye lol. Posted 4 years ago

The house wren is a very small songbird of the wren family, Troglodytidae. It occurs from Canada to southernmost South America, and is thus the most widely distributed bird in the Americas. It occurs in most suburban areas in its range and it is the single most common wren.
