On the lawn of a neighbour-garden I found this pink specimen of the commonly green coloured grasshopper Omocestus Viridulus (in Dutch Groene Veldsprinkhaan). It was hard to make a picture of this beauty. It is a rare natural mutation.

    About a week ago, I posted a photograph of a pink grasshopper. An grasshopper-expert informed me that the correct name of this species is: Chorthippus biguttulus (Dutch name: Wekkertje) very simular but not the same. The name of this pink colouring phenomenon is Erythrisme (vide:https://nl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erythrisme). Are you able to change the Latin and Dutch name? I learned a lot and like to share this with Jungledragon members. Thank you. Wim Thissen
