Misty morning

Yesterday I woke up at 3.30AM to go kayaking on Lake Cerknica. Besides amazing atmosphere and light conditions, this mute swan was one of the highlights.

The Mute swan

The mute swan is a species of swan and a member of the waterfowl family Anatidae. It is native to much of Europe and Asia, and the far north of Africa. It is an introduced species in North America, Australasia and southern Africa.
