Shot this empty shell about a week ago, but we couldn't determine which of the lil' caterpillars belonged to it.
To make up for that I'll upload another egg with resulting caterpillar a few hours old.

      Happy to oblige sir! ;o) And yes, the purple haze is a special touch - unusual place for an egg, mostly we find them on the stems of the host plant. Mom must have been stressed out or some such ... Posted one year ago
