Waved Light Fly (Pyrgota undata) Large fly (nearly 4 cm) in a mixed forest understory. From what I&#039;m reading, members of this fly family are endoparasitoids on scarab beetles. They pursue scarabs in flight and lay eggs beneath their elytra.
