Dorypteryx longipennis on tooth stick Horrible sub-2mm fast moving target. Tried letting it run up and down a tooth stick but even then near impossible to hit in focus :-/<br />
This species was first recorded in the Netherlands in 2009, but may very well have been taken to be <a href="https://www.jungledragon.com/tag/47790/dorypteryx_domestica.html" title="Dorypteryx domestica" class="tag"><em>1</em>Dorypteryx domestica</a> by casual observers looooong before that.<br />
The veins in the wings are about the only diagnostic feature possible to photograph.<br />

    1. Well, let's conclude that it was over stretching my otherwise quite ample patience just a tad this time ;o)
      And not too happy with the results, but at least I was able to ID it ...

Dorypteryx longipennis Smithers, 1991 is a species of cave barklouse in the family Psyllipsocidae.
