  1. Interesting specimen Ernst! The antenna is (confusingly) all dark up to the base whereas the key I found would have it to be paler at the base with segment 1 usually all orangy-brown (with a yet paler stripe on the inside). All other characters certainly are a best match for D. cephalotes, so it should be that species, but good to note that the antenna can be aberrative from what the key uses. Daerlac cephalotes(Dallas,1852) is an ant-mimicking Seed bug (family Rhyparochromide) in the tribe Udeocorini, native to the south-east coast of Australia (Brisbane to Tasmania).
