These are pretty friendly and usually don't skitter away unless you get really close or make quick movements. They are really good pest control and eat wasps and other things. They change color depending on mood/temperature/stressors:
Our other common one is this one. They aren't very active until late Spring through mid-Fall, so I should start seeing more of them soon:
In addition to these there are more "rare" lizards which can only be found in forested areas such as our endemic Luminous Lizard, Ocellated Gecko, Leaf Anole, Richard's Anole, Watts' Anole, Caribbean Treerunner, Polychrus mamoratus, Rainbow Whiptail and Cryptic Golden Tegu.
