Flat-head Leafhopper - Stenocotis depressa - Female The females are pale brown in colour with dark brown patterns. Those patterns on each individuals are different. They rest on large smooth bark gum tree trunks with either face upwards of face downwards. I found this one under the leaf of a pot plant. Males are smaller and darker towards black. The flathead leafhopper is monotypical, being the only member of its genus. It is a well camouflaged insect and widespread throughout Australia.
