Chipping Sparrow - Spizella passerina
This bird was so cute!! It was hopping around on these logs, cocking its head, and singing <3. I usually climb this log pile and look for larvae and other critters, but there is now 'caution/do not enter' tape surrounding the pile.
Habitat: Meadow with a pile of felled trees (many are ash trees that were cut down because of EAB infestations)

The Chipping Sparrow is a species of American sparrow in the family Passerellidae. It is widespread, fairly tame, and common across most of its North American range.
