
Magdalis (Porrothus) cerasi (Linnaeus, 1758) is Weevil (Curculionoidea) in the family Curculionidae, subfamily Mesoptiliinae, common on Cherry and other trees in the Rosaceae over a large range in Europe east to Siberia, becoming less common to the south but still reaching northern Africa.
