''Leptospermum lanigerum'', commonly known as the woolly teatree, is a small tree or medium shrub from the plant family ''Myrtaceae''. Its common name derives from the conspicuously hairy capsules produced as fruit, along with the fine, silky hairs present on branches and leaves.
