''Hovea linearis'' is a slender shrub in the family Fabaceae, native to Australia. The upper leaves are narrow and long while the lower leaves are oval-shaped. Purple flowers are produced in the spring. The species occurs in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
