Gonzo!

Sorry, horrible DOF, but I couldn't resist sharing this encounter with Gonzo (Neocoenorrhinus pauxillus).
He's doing well, but said he misses the good old days of fooling around with all the other muppets :o)

The Neocoenorrhinus pauxillus

Neocoenorrhinus pauxillus (Germar, 1824) is weevil (Curculionoidea) in the family Rhynchitidae, sometimes referred to as "Tooth nosed snout weevils". The family was formerly classified as subfamily Rhynchitinae in the family Attelabidae.
