  1. There is a nice wiki page for this species, but for some reason the system cannot find it...

    1. It looks like the species block on that page is in a deviating format from what JungleDragon expects, probably caused by the synonyms block. Species created manually. Posted 12 years ago
      1. Systems can have a mind of their own sometimes ;) Posted 12 years ago
        1. Yes they do. The problem here is that Wikipedia formatting is not an exact science, there are so many little variations that it is impossible to make the parsing of it fool proof. The success rate right now is about 90%, and believe me, getting it to that level was a nightmare in itself. Posted 12 years ago
          1. I don't remember having such a problem before and I have a few Scientist medals already so the success rate should be higher than that. The problem is when there is no wiki page. Either way, you react very quickly by creating the species manually so thank you for that. Posted 12 years ago

Ornithogalum narbonense is a herbaceous perennial flowering plant with underground bulbs, belonging to the genus Ornithogalum of the Asparagaceae family. The Latin name Ornithogalum of the Genus, meaning "bird's milk", derives from the Greek, while the species name narbonense refers to the French town of Narbonne.
