The white-rumped hawk is a species of bird of prey in the family Accipitridae. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
