    1. Bay was caught in a fishing net and bought into Melbourne Zoo for treatment. Due to the injury she wasn't set free as she got close to keepers and she was under treatment for a long time. She is used in a Conservation program about not throwing rubbish into the ocean Posted 12 years ago

The New Zealand fur seal, or Australian fur seal or southern fur seal, is a species of fur seal found around the south coast of Australia, the coast of the South Island of New Zealand, and some of the small islands to the south and east of there.
