  1. I can't find a match...It has some similarities to Anavitrinella and Eutrapela sp. (protuberances). Also, coloration is similar to Epimecis hortaria. Posted 4 years ago
    1. i looked for around an hour yesterday, but i couldn't find a match! The dorsal spots are so distinctive, I am hoping that someone on BG knows what it is! Maybe the host plant will be helpful. Posted 4 years ago
    2. Someone on BG is saying Phigalia titea, but it just isn't an exact match. I think this looks better? https://bugguide.net/node/view/1226573/bgimage

''Apocheima strigataria'', the small phigalia moth, is a species of moth of the family Geometridae. The species was first described by Charles Sedgwick Minot in 1869. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from North Dakota to Texas and further east. The habitat consists of woodlands and forests.
