Here's more information about it
Tasselled Anglerfish, Rhycherus filamentosus (Castelnau 1872)
A moderately large anglerfish with skin densely-covered in long filaments, and a large fishing lure on the head resembling a marine worm. They are carnivorous - ambush predators. Brownish to reddish above with dark and light bars and blotches, pale below.
Tasselled Anglerfishes live on rocky reefs that are covered in macroalgae, at depths of 2-60 m. Although fairly common, the Tasselled Anglerfish is extremely well-camouflaged and not easily seen.
Endemic to temperate waters of southern Australia, from off Lakes Entrance, Victoria, to Point Sinclair, South Australia, and in northern Tasmania.
Like other anglerfishes found in southern Australian waters, females produce large demersal eggs that are protected by her male partner until the young hatch.
