Early dog-violet

''Viola reichenbachiana'', the early dog-violet, or pale wood violet is a flowering plant in the violet family Violaceae. This species hybridises with ''Viola riviniana'', the common dog-violet, to produce ''Viola'' × ''bavarica''.
