  1. Interesting, so this bird is collecting "jewels" to build a little palace. This reminds me of a scene on TV where a bird did the same thing. He collected a few very shiny beetles that looked like pearls. Yet them being alive, they kept running away, and the bird kept putting them back in place. Posted 12 years ago

The Satin Bowerbird is a bowerbird endemic to eastern Australia. A rare natural intergeneric hybrid between the Satin Bowerbird and the Regent Bowerbird is known as Rawnsley's Bowerbird.
