Tree Bumblebee (Bombus hypnorum) I was so fascinated when I saw this Bumblebee, at a distance I thought it was a Common Carder Bee, but something struck me as odd and that was the white tail, I did some research and was sure it was a recent species to the UK (2001), this has been verified by BeeWatch.     1. Thank you, as I said I was so excited to see this one and to correctly identify it too, it does look big in the photo but it if you look at the flower petal it really isn't, I liked to get in close for ID. Posted 12 years ago
