    1. Sorry Christine, I overlooked your comment. I don’t think that the mistletoe kills it’s hostplants as This in the Long run would not be good for the mistletoe. I have however observed some very sick and almost dead hostplants with mistletoe growing on them. Mostlikely the hostplant had problems befor the mistletoe started growing on it. But I am no expert in these matters. Posted 4 years ago

"Amyema preissii", commonly known as wireleaf mistletoe, is a species of mistletoe, an epiphytic, hemiparasitic plant of the family Loranthaceae. It is native to Australia where it has been recorded from all mainland states.
