Hooded Crow (Corvus cornix) Not a species seen in England,very much, but luckily both Rome and Pontecorvo in Italy had plenty on offer.<br />

And entertaining they were too.<br />

Surprisingly, they were only classified as a separate species in 2002.<br />

The Hooded Crow is a Eurasian bird species in the crow genus. Widely distributed, it is also known locally as Scotch Crow, Danish Crow, and Corbie or Grey Crow in Ireland.
