Fulgorid Planthopper - Cathedra serrata

Native to Ecuador and Suriname.

*This insect is part of my personal collection. Sadly it is in pretty bad shape, but I am going to try to relax the wings because the hind wings are pretty spectacular.

    Have to disagree here. No disturbing highlights as far as I can see. I'm on a calibrated monitor at recommended brightness. A less subjective way to check is to use the histogram, it should show any overexposure. Posted 4 years ago

      I compared this photo to the specimen and it does look very accurate. My initial dismay with the lighting of the photo was probably due to the washed out background. I want it to be BLACK, not gray. Posted 4 years ago
