      Yep, this is the famous oven tray coated in Musou black.

      As flash is hitting it straight on, it doesn't look as black on the photo though, more like mid to dark gray. Yet uniformly so. Next I use a -1EV paintbrush and paint around the subject. Fairly easy and quick.       Posted 4 years ago

                All work is homework when you homeschool. But, I imagine they (especially Caleb) would use the paint to make lots of things disappear. Posted 4 years ago

The Ocellated Shield Bug

''Cantao ocellatus'' is a species of shield bug in the family Scutelleridae found across Asia. Reddish or ochre in overall colour it has dark legs and bluish black antennae. A dark bluish black stripe is present along the central line of the head.
