
Mallard (Female) - Anas platyrhynchos
This pretty lady had a lot to say/complain about. There were multiple mating pairs of mallards on the river and all were quiet except for this female. She was quacking so much that I couldn't help but wonder if her mate regretted pairing with her.

The mallard or wild duck is a dabbling duck that breeds throughout the temperate and subtropical Americas, Eurasia, and North Africa, and has been introduced to New Zealand, Australia, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, the Falkland Islands, and South Africa.
Similar species: Ducks, Geese, Etc.
