Captured on an evening walk in my home town yesterday. There were many of these around, each step I made triggered a few dozen of them to move, so they were easy to find too.

''Crambus lathoniellus'' is a species of moth of the family Crambidae. It is found in Europe, Central and South-East Asia.

The wingspan is ca. 20 millimetres . The moth flies from May to September depending on the location.

The larvae feed on various grasses.
