    Thanks Roselien... yes it was... Another interesting note was that none of the white on the ground, is snow. All the textures, colors and formations are from mineral crystals being pushed up from the earth. Posted 14 years ago

      Hard to tell... I don't quite remember such a large expanse in that area, but it was a couple of years ago so it might be.
