  1. It looks similar to Valanga irregularis, which seems super variable. The problem is that Valanga irregularis is an Australian species, but there seems to be some spottings of it in PNG and Indonesia.

  2. I agree with Christine . Although it’s distribution is tropical also on Christmas Island just of Sumatra.
    I have images of nymphs and they look almost identical to yours .

    1. I am getting really convinced on this being Valanga genus.
      And I also see ressemblance to V. irregularis here so I will add it as tentative ID
