    1. Actually, I've failed to identify it by myself; so I've posted a top view of this guy to my favorite entomologist site "Le monde des insectes" (https://www.insecte.org/, forum in French only) where there are 2 or 3 good specialists in Otiorhynchus.
      In France we have 2 publications (books) available for French species but in Greece I use to go to the very good site dedicated to Greek Curculionidae (https://curci.site.at/en/taxons).

      1. Ah - friends with brains - much better than documentation! :o) The other day I came by an old German language key for the Otiorhynchus of the Pannonian Basin (Karpatenbecken/Carpathian Basin) and it does feature O. lugens, but I'm sure a few other Greek species must be missing from it ...
        Yes, many very knowledgeable people at insecte.org - excellent community. I still have an account there but don't visit much anymore, as my writing *cough*skills*cough* in French just make it a bit cumbersome *rolleyes*
