  1. Wombats are so wonderful, how lucky to see, I've yet to come across one in a natural setting. But....GET OFF THE ROAD little fellow! They know not, the dangers that stretch of tarmac holds. Posted 4 years ago
  2. Yes they never in a hurry crossing roads and in some areas you see many killed. Also in this case the problem is that they are not worried about people or cars. Posted 4 years ago

The common wombat , also known as the coarse-haired wombat or bare-nosed wombat, is a marsupial, one of three species of wombats and the only one in the genus ''Vombatus''. The common wombat grows to an average of 98 cm long and a weight of 26 kg .
