Pulsatilla montana duo
This beautiful flower seems to live two lives. In early spring it is one of the first flowers to come out and is strikingly beautiful. Then in summer it turns into this messy hair mode that looks more like a rock star! Photographed in Dolomites, Italy.

Unusual plants, native to rocky meadows, exceptionally beautiful, open with masses of large, flared, short-stemmed flowers, followed by ornamental fluffy seed heads as with most other Pulsatillas.
