  1. It will turn into a nice mothie, hopefully! Posted 4 years ago
    1. This species isn't so nice to my knowledge. They are an invasive species from Europe that are doing lots of damage to trees in the US. Posted 4 years ago
      1. Unfortunately, Lisa is correct. These moths are nasties around here. But, I like your positivity, Marta <3. Posted 4 years ago
        1. Oh...well, plagues can look pretty sometimes :-) Posted 4 years ago
          1. Haha, true. Posted 4 years ago
  2. So friggin' cool! Posted 4 years ago
    1. Thanks, it was a cool find! It was dangling out in the open though, which was so weird. Posted 4 years ago
      1. did you leave it be? or destroy it? I am trying to be a little more proactive about nasties like these. Posted 4 years ago
        1. I left it. I should have squashed it, but just couldn't do it. I actively scrape the eggs off trees when I see them though. I struggle to kill the larvae and pupae though. I should have killed it though. One good whack with a rock would have done it. Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago
          1. Yah, it is a tough decision but I'm trying my best to be a better steward. I just tell myself that I would much rather squish one of these than see trees wiped out. T_T Posted 4 years ago
            1. Exactly. Posted 4 years ago
