  4. Hi Wendy, lovely photo, but this isn't a Rufous-tailed Hummingbird - that species doesn't reach Brazil, and it doesn't have the prominent rufous chin of your bird. This is a Gilded Hummingbird (Hylocharis chrysura). Posted 5 months ago

The gilded sapphire , also known as the gilded hummingbird, is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is found in a wide range of open and semi-open habitats in southern Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay and northern Argentina.
