Black-capped Chickadee - Poecile atricapillus
I'm participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count this weekend, and have lots of chickadees in my yard. This one pecked off a twig and then carried it into the brush on the edge of my yard. This area is impenetrable because of the tangles of thorny plants and bushes. So, it's a popular place for the birds and bunnies to hang out. On the other side of the brush is a steep hill and wetland.
Habitat: Rural area
