Andean Condor at Antwerp zoo By weight and wingspan this is the largest flying bird on the planet. The photo does not do justice to this fact. Upon approaching its cage, I froze to the ground. It took my brain some time to realize what it was looking at. This bird is truly huge and impressive to see in real life, if only I could see it fly.
