Brown booby - Sula leucogaster This booby was choking with a fish he could not swallow. The crew members from our dive boat decided to help and removed the fish from his throat, then let the bird to recover for a little while at the top of the boat. I climbed up and sat down next to him and could make pics and even touch him (her) ...the poor one was really exhausted and indeed he would have died if he would have been left alone. After a while he recovered and flew to the water and swam next to us for a while before leaving. The brown booby is a large seabird of the booby family, "Sulidae". They present sexual dimorphism. The female booby reaches about 80 centimetres in length, its wingspan measures up to 150 cm, and they can weigh up to 1,300 g. The male booby reaches about 75 centimetres in length, its wingspan measures up to 140 cm, and they can weigh up to 1,000 g.
