    1. Ah thanks Ferdy! It was great luck because I'd only seen those guys from very far away as they tended to stick to the other end of the lake, but then one morning as I was chatting with a guy who lived nearby, these probably got spooked by something and flew a big loop around the lake, passing close enough and giving me time to get a couple shots. The Brazilian teal or Brazilian duck is the only duck in the genus "Amazonetta".

Similar species: Ducks, Geese, Etc.
