    1. Sorry, Picos - Picos de Europa. The mountain range is called the "Peaks of Europe", as when the seafarers in the15th & 16th century left port these peaks were the last thing they saw of the mainland & the 1st they saw when returning. So that's how they got their name - almost 2,700 metres high. My shorthand. absolutely glorious. A couple of pictures attached.
